Jindabyne Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade

Lake Wallace – Earth Dam & Road Construction

Bega Valley Sewerage Program

Description: Construction of multiple new MBR sewerage treatment plants, upgrades to existing sewerage treatment plants (STPs) as well as pump stations and pipelines.

  • Four new MBR STPs. All civil works, concrete tanks, in ground pipeworks, roads and pavements
  • New 20ML HDPE lined effluent storage pond at Tathra STP

Bega Hospital Sewerage Pump Station

Description: Construction of a new sewerage pump station and rising main for the new Bega Hospital as well as an adjacent subdivision.

Bombala Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade

Client: Snowy Monaro Regional Council

Date/Duration: 2019 – 14 months

RDM contract value: $11.5m

Description: The existing Bombala STP was constructed in 1969 as a trickling filter plant with a nominal capacity of 1,900 EP.

The Upgrade Works will involve a completely new treatment system making the old treatment plant redundant once the new works have been commissioned.

RDM is responsible for the design (to the extent specified), construction, pre-commissioning, and all assistance in the commissioning of the augmentation and upgrade of Bombala Sewerage Treatment Plant.  RDM is also be responsible for the decommissioning and demolition of the old redundant plant infrastructure.
